GITEX Africa is the continent's largest technology and digital economy exhibition, organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre in partnership with Morocco's Digital Development Agency (ADD). The 2026 edition — the 4th — ran April 7–9, 2026 at Place Bab Jdid in Marrakech, bringing together startups, corporates, investors, and government delegations from across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe under one roof.

What GITEX Africa 2026 Covered
True to its billing as Africa's flagship tech event, the Marrakech show mixed the usual pillars of a GITEX edition — AI, fintech, smart mobility, e-commerce — with sectors that matter specifically to the region: agritech and food security, climate and clean energy, and health infrastructure for underserved markets.
